When did you start CrossFit?
2012
When did you start coaching CrossFit?
2018 – I started coaching group fitness classes in 2011 because I wanted to step away from the computer screen I was at all day and interact with other humans (something that doesn’t exist when you’re self-employed.) It started with yoga and shifted into functional fitness and CrossFit when I experienced the magic of that methodology for myself. I got my L1 in 2018 and have been coaching multiple classes a week aand workshops since.
What do you love about coaching at KFP?
After more than a decade in this industry, I’ve seen some things. And what I’ve seen at Kôr is special. Not only does the entire staff truly care about the success of our members, we have chiropractors, physical therapists, and sports team coaches leading classes.
What’s your favorite movement?
As an endurance runner, I have to say that running is my favorite. But I also really love any type of barbell clean.
What do you like to do outside of the gym?
Run my business, log running miles, foster puppies, and enjoy carbs.
